What will happen?
The treatment consists of placing a titanium fixture into the jawbone where the root of a tooth would be. This is left to heal and allow fusion with the jaw bone, thereby holding it in place. All this is done with local anaesthetic, so no pain will be felt! After the initial healing period a tooth is fitted onto the implant. The aftercare for implants resembles that of your natural teeth. They feel and look natural ; your self esteem will be restored.
