Book nowSmileTRU is an invisible orthodontic treatment for the smile of your dreams. It uses a series of clear aligners that can be offered as an alternative to fixed braces for most mild to complex cases. Each aligner is designed to fit over the teeth and will gently guide them into their desired position. If traditional orthodontics are not suitable for your lifestyle then SmileTRU is an excellent choice to achieve a great smile.
Get in touchDuring your detailed consultation, we assess your teeth and gums and make sure you are suitable for SmileTRU aligners. We discuss the treatment process with you and take digital scans and images so your bespoke aligners can be made.
These custom-made aligners fit snugly over your teeth, gently nudging them into their ideal positions. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, moving your teeth little by little. Then, you'll simply switch to the next one in the series, which incorporates the next stage of movement. This gradual approach ensures comfort, safety, and convenience.
When your treatment is complete, we give you a custom-made retainer to keep your teeth in their new straight positions and avoid relapse. We then leave you to enjoy your new smile!
SmileTru is a teeth straightening treatment that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually shift your teeth into the desired position. Unlike traditional braces, SmileTru aligners are virtually invisible and can be taken out for eating and brushing.
Treatment time varies depending on the severity of your misalignment. Typically, SmileTru treatment takes anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
You may experience some mild discomfort when you first start wearing a new set of aligners, but this usually goes away within a few days.
For optimal results, you should wear your SmileTru aligners for at least 22 hours a day, only removing them for eating, drinking (except water), and brushing your teeth.
You will need to wear a retainer after your SmileTru treatment to prevent your teeth from shifting back. Your dentist or orthodontist will advise you on how often to wear your retainer.
You might experience a slight lisp at first, but you’ll soon adjust to speaking clearly as you get used to wearing the aligners.
